He growled and broke the kiss, glaring into her eyes. It seemed he had met his match; she was generally, it seemed as cold as he. His hand raised around her neck, keeping her pinned against the wall. ”Who are you working for, that you feel it necessary to follow me?” If she gave him an answer that he didn’t like, all he had to do was tighten his grip around her precious little neck.

"I'm not working for anyone." I looked at him and smiled sweetly. Then I said, "I was just a little lonely, Don't I look innocent enough?" I didn't know if he believed me, but part of me was hoping even if he didn't, he would let me go. My black death-filled eyes were innocently watching him. I awaited my death now, as I guessed a guy like this wouldn't care what I had to say. I sighed, and looked at him, waiting for him to do something.

He wanted to slap the smile off her face. She was hiding something, the paranoid man could see it in her eyes. There was something that was going on in that twisted little brain of hers. "What, let you go so you can turn me into the cops because of the way I come off as a drug dealer? Not a chance sweetheart. I'm not letting you out of my sight until my brother makes sure you're okay." From his pocket he produced a pair of handcuffs, dangling them before her. "Will you go quietly, princess, or am I going to have to drug you?"

I sighed and said. "Whatever... There's no hope of you letting me go." My mind again pondered the thought that he might just kill me, its not like anyone would miss me. I defiantly held out my hands, not even looking at the jerk. The fire in my eyes had now faded, as if I were already dead. My spirit was broken, the me I once knew was now gone.

His eyes flashed, for once in his life with concern when he saw the fire die. Isn't that what he had wanted all along? To be the top dog and lash out at woman? But no, he had broken her spirit, broken her will. His eyes dropped in shame, though saw nothing but her cleavage. He smiled weakly, and for once an enlightening thought came to his mind. This girl, this girl he would get to want it. Then he could leave her behind. He took a step back, giving her room to leave if she so desired. His eyes still upon the ground, he spoke solemnly. "I-I am sorry, I do not know what came over me." His eyes raised, there was a smirk on his lips as he raised his head. That he could not hide. "Can I take you out to dinner to make it up to you?" I looked at him and walked out of the alley. I stammered, "Uh.. I s-suppose." My heart wondered if I should trust him after he had broken my spirit. I sighed and hoped with all my life that this was a good idea. I looked up at him and asked myself Is this is whats meant to happen? I only hoped I would not regret my decision to go with him.

He did not know what to do. For once in his life, he felt remorse. He was used to killing the innocent; tainting their souls, not taming a shrewdish killer. He didn't want it to be that easy. He did not move to follow her, he merely watched her go, wondered what exactly he had done that was so horribly wrong that she couldn't handle it. He frowned. "Back to work, little one. Though we shall meet again." He did not look at her when he spoke, just pretended like he spotted someone in the distance. He shifted into his wolven form, and bounded away, did not look back at all. He wanted to taint people, he wanted to kill them. He had never intended to break her wild spirit. -Thread Fin-
