K O Y A M I The writing on the wall is in blood
So, here I was in this new town. Here, no one could tell me what to do. And by god I wasn't going to listen. The subway wasn't even running today, for what reason I didn't know. I didn't really care. I just liked the dark; because in it I could see what others couldn't because of my cat eyes. Not a soul was about; there was only the electricity in the air to keep me company. Just the way I liked it. The shadows shuddered before me, something burst from them. A smirk stretched across my chesire cat face. Slowly I stalked closer, testing the air with my nose. Yes, yes it had been there; it was still there. I prepared; it moved once again. I bounced, and sunk my teeth and claws into it's fragile fetid body. The rat squealed, but died without a fight. I devoured it without a second thought, and looked around. It was hot down in these caverns, and there was no one about anyway. I smiled, and in the blink of the eye, I was a woman, supple but firm; curves and muscles. I purred as my cat eyes stayed in focus, I wouldn't be able to see without them. My clothes were torn, they didn't cover me well. I hadn't been able to change clothes since I killed my pimp. I was better off alone anyway; here in this tunnel. My pupils were dilated as I lowered my head, my blonde hair spilling out around my face as I licked the blood from my hand. Oh, sweet nectar, what joy you give me? I thought as I threw my head back and moaned with pleasure at the taste of the blood slipping down my throat. Yes, this would be my heaven; this would be my hell. [/font]

A blue-gray fox padded into the tunnel, there was no one about here today so he did not worry about getting caught. The vulpine sat down, lashing his tail. This was Alex, leader of the thieves, he let out sharp bark as he saw a cat in front of him, a shifter he guessed. He acted as a regular fox, though he was not, he was a shifter. This cat before him, though she acted as a normal cat, might be a shifter. He flexed his claws, and watched the cat carefully in case she was a shifter. Then he saw her shift into a human and nodded, now knowing she was a shifter. Then, he barked again and patiently waited, watching the person who had just shifted from a cat.

I could not help but let the hiss escape from me as I heard the bark. Dogs were my enemy, how was I to know what animal was barking at me? Eyes flicked quickly to it, seeing with my eyes that it was a fox. I growled under my breath, but it died away as I thought for a moment. This fox must be like me. He must be one of us, because foxes don't live in the subways. He'd still be subject to human seduction, and that I knew all to well how to do. I might not like them, but humans were fun to play with. I rolled over on my stomach, getting up on all four. My still cat like eyes focused on the fox, my feline scent told me it was a male. There was a smirk on my lips as I crawled closer. My shirt was not the tightest, and so it bagged down so the fox could probably get a good view of my cleavage. I giggled as I slunk toward him. Did he know what he was getting into? I passed through a shadow, and I reached with cat like reflexes into my boot and grabbed my pocket knife just in case. There wasn't time to shift back anyway. And so now I was before him, staring straight into his eyes. It was my moment to shine and play the dumb blonde. I reached out and ran my hand over his head. "Oh my! You're so cute! What's something as cute as you doing down here?" Let him bite me, I thought. It wasn't like I wasn't wanting to die of rabies anyway.

Alex growled, and simply replied "I'm tougher than I look." He knew she was a shifter now, so he had no reason to worry. I flexed my claws again, while baring my teeth, aware that I should not trust her so easily. His tail lashed even harder behind him as this female put her hand on his head. He thought I'm no pet dog! So stop treating me like one! Alex hated when he felt like a mere pet, he was much more than that. He ducked his head down a little, while backing up, as to get her hand off of his head. Alex would not let her near him until he knew he could trust her.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the stupid fox. What was he, fourteen? Preteen? Still afraid of girls? Way to ruin the fun, macho man. I snapped back at him with a fire in my voice, still kneeling, still looking sweetly to him. "Then if you're so strong, why are you hiding behind the eyes of a fox when all you have before you is a woman practically throwing herself at you? Some man you are." My eyes lit up, and I nearly burst out laughing at the thought that struck my mind. Maybe, just maybe, this guy was gay. All the more reason to pester him; I needed a gay friend in these parts. My palms were hurting from the tracks, so I leaned up against the wall and stared at the fox. It didn't do any tricks, and so I pulled out my pocket knife and started running my fingers over it. "The way I see it, right now you're nothing. I'm the one with the thumb." I giggled and my finger slipped, the blade slitting my finger. I giggled in vampirus delight, and sucked my finger gently, eyes turning toward the fox as they glinted with lust; with some desire to please and in turn get what I wanted from him; and I licked that finger like I was taught to lick other things by the pimp, seeing if the tricks of the trade worked on this underworld scum.

Alex shifted into a human, and replied. "Hiding? I am not so afraid that I have to hide. I just am not going to trust you so easily."He narrowed his eyes at her and stood, leaning against a wall. He watched her, and felt angry at her words. Though he did now show it, and he could almost tell what she was thinking. True, he might have wanted to trust her, but last time he trusted someone not in his guild he got back-stabbed! He wanted to say something else, but he wasn't sure what to say. Then he realized how much he didn't want to be here, though he would not admit why, even though he knew the answer.

I sensed the change in the air, and turned to look at him. He wasn't particularly godly, but he wasn't bad either. Whoever he was, he seemed to feel that he had an air of importance that surrounded him; that would always surround him. I could not help my lips curling up in a smirk, there was something about him that just screamed fear. I sniffed at the air; and it was there. That desire to be somewhere else. I laughed, and fell back into the shadows so this man could not see the mystery woman that would tear out his heart. "Oh really? Not trusting, eh? So you come up to a girl with a knife in a lesser form. Some brilliant game you play." He could hear the sound of my knife scraping against the stone wall around me.

Alex just watched her in silence, then said, "I am not afraid of you..." He really didn't know what she was getting at, so he kept alert. Then he watched her back away into the shadows, and he spoke again, "Well I suppose I will leave you now." It was not out a fear that he said this, but out of his reasons not to trust her. He would not trust her just to be back-stabbed... he learned from that mistake. Thought he did not leave, instead he stayed, and tried not to show how much he... wanted her. He was not weak, yet he felt as if her 'games' were getting to him. He looked at the spot where she his, in the shadows. He tried to hide his feeling, thought he wasn't the best at that. So she probably knew what he was thinking.

My eyes glinted from the faint lights; they were all he could see of me. My hair fell into my face, and he could probably see the smile I let as the shade had changed to black in the darkness. Now it was time to play Dark Angel. I could see it on his face that he was weakening. I just had to get him near me before I could give him the kiss of death; and then I'd have him forever. So I got on my hands and knees like I had before, and I crawled closer to him flipping my hair over my shoulder. My tongue ran over my teeth gently, then I ran it over my lips like I was taught back in hooker school. But my eyes stayed innocent; pleadingly innocent. "Please won't you stay? It's terribly lonely down here...." I stopped at his feet; he looked a little tense. My tricks were working.

Alex kept his face straight as he replied, "I suppose...." He really had no choice... he couldn't say no, even if he wanted to. He watched her with a helpless feeling, though his gaze stayed strong. His legs started to feel weak, so he stayed close to the wall, leaning on it. Alex had never felt more helpless in his life, and all thoughts of not trusting her were gone.

This was almost sickeningly easy. I growled under my breath, and I turned away. Was there no dignity left in men to at least pretend to be hard to get? Perhaps not, but there was fight left in me. And I couldn't let him even remotely think he had me unless I knew who he was and where his power lay. I wasn't going to just let someone who didn't have any power hold anything over me. My lips curled back in a smirk as I shifted back to the shadows where he would no longer be tempted by my beauty. My voice was cold like the demons that haunt me. "Who are you to think I was being serious? I want details, boy. Since I've gotten myself stuck with you. Reverse psychology doesn't seem to work on the braindead."

Alex watched her disappear into the shadows, and leaned against the wall, pretending not to care. He felt ready to leave, but he didn't, instead he stayed, feeling a little confused. His gaze was fixed on the shadows where she disappeared. He was trying to stay strong, trying not to let her control him. The wind blew through the tunnel, ruffling his black hair, as he waited for something to happen.

She growled, leaning from the shadows so only her face appeared out of them. They were half cat now, her eyes were cat and her nose was cat and her lips; thin little lines, but her cheeks were human and so were her ears. "You going to answer me, sly boy? Or should I just go out on a wimp and call you loser?" She snapped at him, not liking how he wasn't even bothering to respond to him. She fell back into the shadows. Men these days...

Alex simply replied. "Why should I answer you? Why do you even want me here? to insult me?" He was going to leave if she was just going to insult him. He looked into the shadows, with anger in his eyes. Why he thought Do I even bother talking to anyone? He put his hand in the pocket of his black hoodie, not looking in her direction anymore. She was a lot like him, which is exactly why he didn't want to be here, but still something made him stay.

She growled and lunged from the shadows half way, snapping at him and narrowing her eyes at the bastard, rolling them as she sunk back to the shadows. "A girl can't start innocent conversation? You obviously weren't doing it."
-Ick. Sorry-
