Hey there! My name is: Renee "Rin" Lathlin
My age? I’m: Seventeen
I was born a: Female
I am: Straight
Guild?: __
My Shapeshift Form: Fox
This is how I look like:
;;Human;;
I loves wearing different kinds of clothing because I want to have my own kind of style. My orange hair is whole natural by the way but everyone doesn’t think so because of the shade. I never dyed my hair in my life. My tattoo is on my wrist so I usually cover it up with my striped gloves.
;; Fox ;;
People say that:
I’m a bit of a weirdo. I could be loud and random some times and I love to be noticed and to stand out of the crowd. I’m very kind to people and I would always help out and support my friends. Even strangers. I’m very clumsy and I get hurt regularly because of tripping or whacking something with my hand. I love being a fox. It’s my favourite animal so why shouldn’t I be happy?
My background story, eh?:
Well, I didn’t live in the happiest home ever as a kid. My mother and father fought a lot and every night I always hear something breaking with a yelp right after. It’s quite frightening at first but soon I grew to ignore it and act like it was nothing, like it was normal. Of course it’s not. I loved my parents but with them screaming at each other’s every move and hearing my mom cry at night, I started to detest them. I hated that they hated each other. Only once I was hit by my father for being late for school, I was eleven at the time, and my mother suddenly snapped. She piled our clothes in suitcases and grabbed my hand before pulling me away from my home. Away from my dad. That morning was the last time I ever saw him. Now that we have moved to a different city with my mom’s sister’s house, my mother started to smile again. She was never happy with my father and I guess she was just waiting for a reason to leave him. I miss him but my mother said to forget about him.
Even after all the drama in my life, I still have a big smile on my face and make people smile and laugh too. I went to school, made friends, and, oh yeah, learned about my mother’s secret. Turns out she was a shape shifter too. A fox! My father was a fox too and I learned how my parents met but their story is not important. Now I’m living by myself in the Suburban City, where my parents first met, in search of finding more about the shape shifters.

Rin sighed softly as the winds of the city blew cool air onto her face, blowing her orange tresses behind her and swirl it around like it is dancing. She stuffed her hands into her vest pocket as she walked down the busy street in the city. She just moved here recently but she already knew her way around the city from childhood memories. The park she used to play in was up ahead, the grocery store her mother used to go to is just around the corner, and her favourite coffee shop was just down the street. That is where she is heading. It’s been a while since she drank hot chocolate there. The last time she was there, she was ten. She used to go there every day and the nice owners there call her their regular customer and let her stay as long as she wants. The reason why so does spend most of her days there is because that was when she was still living with her father with her mother. She hates hearing them call each other ugly words so Rin mostly spends her days in this small but cozy coffee shop . Rin smiled when she heard the familiar ringing sound of the bell when the door opened, remembering how she heard that sound everyday back then and loves the sound of it. Yes, good memories. Rin walked inside and slowly walked up to the counter but, instead, nobody was there. ”Hello?” Rin called out as she leaned over the counter. She squeaked with surprised when an old man popped up from under the counter, holding a mug in his hands. When the man looked at her, he smiled.
“Why hello there, young lady. What can I get you?” The man asked. Rin smiled brightly. She missed this man. He always told her funny stories when she stayed there as a kid. It’s kind of disappointing that he doesn’t remember her. Well, she was gone for five years and that’s a lot of change since that was when she went through the whole puberty thing. Before Rin could open her mouth, the old man squinted his small eyes as he adjusted his glasses. “Wait. Do I know you?” He asked. He stared at her for a long time and once again, when she tried to say something, he interrupted her. “Oh! Oh my! Rin? Rinny my dear, is that you?” The old man asked, his smile widened and his winkles crinkled more. Rin giggled and nodded her head.
“It’s nice to see you again, Mr Patterson!” Rin grinned.

I always wears my black and gray striped scarf around my neck and I have it with me all the time. It’s really important to me because that was my last gift from when my mother and father were actually happy with each other. It brings back good memories instead of the bad kind.
