Personality…
Skylar is not the quiet type, and she is very outspoken. Even though she is younger than all of the other thieves, she is put to good use. Being smaller and ‘less likely to commit a crime’, as seen by the locals, she is the ideal pickpocket. She can get mad, and when she does, her feet are her best weapon. Even though she goes barefoot and keeps pride and cleanliness throughout her feet, she can send a kick in a soft spot easily. Skylar is a very independent girl, and lives by herself, and makes herself a living at 14 years old. This girl usually wears a white dress that curves around her body with spaghetti straps, and at the bottom near her waist, spreads out like a white skirt. When Skylar feels like you are putting her down for being younger, she gets angry. She’ll do just about anything to prove herself, even if it means jumping off of a cliff. She wants to be in the thieves guild.
My past to H A U N T me…
When Skylar was very young, about three years old, her and her mother lived on the streets. When she had been born her father had deserted her mother, and took his money and estate with him. He blackmailed his wife, and she didn’t have any insurance, and there was no trial for custody of the child. After all, he didn’t was Skylar anyways. After they found out Skylar was a Skylark, her mother named her so, and they ran the streets together. At the age of four, her, and her mother broke into a pawn shop, desperate for money. The alarm sounded and the police were there in a heartbeat. Her mother whipped out a gun, knowing that if she went to jail her daughter would go to foster care. She couldn’t let that happen. Skylar’s mother shouted for her to run, and the bullets rang out. Somehow she knew that her mother could never pull that trigger, but the police didn’t, and at the sight of a weapon, they weren’t taking chances.
She’d run from the police for ages, and pecked crumbs in Skylark form. At six years old, she saw two kids reaching into a rich man’s pocket, and take his wallet! He didn’t notice a thing. At first, Skylar felt bad about it, but then she learned, if you don’t steal, you don’t eat. She sometimes stays at the Sunset Hotel, and she has a clerk there that lets her stay named Rob. She pays him in stolen watches and jewelry, but will never tell him her name, so the staff always call her ‘Eloise’, from the popular children’s book of a girl that lives in a hotel! She is currently looking for the thieves guild.
